WISA Welcome’s Anchor Point LTD

Every organization or business has critical infrastructures that need protection. At Anchor Point LTD, our mission is to provide advanced, cutting edge solutions solutions to meet this very important need our clients have. We operate our business through innovation and intelligent design. We work tirelessly on our buildings and testing to provide certified, high-end models for small and mass quantities.

Anchor Point LTD utilizes the latest fabrication technologies to provide cost effective products & services for:

Security (Prisons, Jails)
It is extremely important for not only inmate and officer safety, but also for public safety that security in jails and prisons are well protected.

Food Processing
How food is prepared and regulated is very important for chefs, manufacturer employs, and labs technicians to maintain food safety guidelines in environments that utilize a food processor. Sanitation remains to be an important concern in this industry.

Aggregate
Security systems become more and more important in the landscape of the aggregate industry. Safety code is a high priority concern, as well as fraud, theft, and safety when operating heavy machinery.

Retail
Retail stores help provide enjoyment to their customers by helping them feel safe and protected. Theft can happen anywhere around the world at any given time. It is up to the retail business to be prepared and protected through security measures if such an event was to happen. At Anchor Point LTD, we offer only the best in custom security fabrication technology.

Travel/Transportation
Security cameras are important in the Department of Transportation, primarily used next to traffic signals, along busy roads, within tunnels, and in busy intersections close to the highway. With these traffic security cameras, the Department of Transportation can record traffic patterns, monitor traffic, issue tickets for moving violations, and record video surveillance.

Port of Entry
When it comes to salt exposed harbor entries, security is a top priority, especially regarding entrances, exits, perimeters, critical buildings, cargo areas, parking areas, and warehouses. The transportation industry has always been in need of security as shipments are coming from overseas.

Additionally, Anchor Point serves the Pharmaceutical and Agricultural Industries through custom security camera housings and fabrication efforts.

WISA Welcome’s Southwire

Southwire is a family-owned company operating in a globally competitive industry. As owners, we are proud of the company’s legacy and good standing in the community. Southwire’s success is rooted in hard work, social responsibility and innovation and we believe that sustaining these core values is vital to the company’s future. We are long-term owners, have a long-term perspective and intend for our children to be long-term owners, too.

Southwire’s roots extend to 1937, when Roy Richards Sr., then a young 25 years old, started Richards & Associates (R&A) to erect power poles with the ultimate purpose of bringing electric light to his grandmother’s home.

Richards was a recent graduate of Georgia Tech, and while the promise of jobs paying $80 a month lured most of his classmates to New York, Richards chose to stay in Carroll County, a commitment he kept even after Southwire grew into a leading player in the wire and cable industry.

During its first two and a half years, R&A strung 3,500 miles of cable, becoming the nation’s second-largest Rural Electrification Act (REA) contractor. As World War II halted all REA construction, Richards was called up into the U.S. Army, eventually reaching the rank of captain.
