The WISA Annual Golf Outing brought together 116 participants for a day of golf, networking, and industry camaraderie on September 24 at Wanaki Golf Club. With beautiful weather setting the stage, attendees enjoyed reconnecting with industry friends and colleagues before gathering for dinner, the raffle, and the Packers game. Although the Packers didn’t deliver a win for Wisconsin fans, the outing was once again a great opportunity to build relationships and support the industry.
A Day of Golf, Networking, and Remembrance
WISA President Ken Vandervest welcomed the 116 participants, thanked the event sponsors, and led a moment of silence in remembrance of former WISA President Roy Longworth.
Dustin Skupniewitz of ADI, who organizes the annual outing, encouraged golfers to keep up the pace of play, joking that the beverage cart wouldn’t wait for anyone falling behind. The pace improved considerably from previous years, giving participants plenty of time to enjoy the course and one another’s company.
Industry Connections on the Course
The outing provided sponsors and vendors with an opportunity to connect with customers, meet new industry professionals, and showcase their products and services.
- Kyle Szekeres, Devine180, enjoyed another opportunity to participate in WISA events and connect with customers and others in the security industry.
