Hibachi is the cooking of meat, vegetable and seafood dishes on a high-heat, metal cooking plate. Under the cooking plate is a wooden or ceramic container filled with burning charcoal or wood. Hibachi chefs are entertainers and culinary arts experts that wow dinner guests with seemingly  impossible coordination, skill, and  sometimes humor.

In her role as Senior Vice President of Business Development for ACA, Ms. Bond is responsible for increasing sales through acquisitions and driving the overall business-to-business development strategy for the company. In 2014, the Women’s Security Council recognized her career accomplishments by naming her an Honoree of their Women of the Year awards.

Ms. Bond has been with ACA since 2005 and began her work in the electronic security industry in 1998. In her career, Ms. Bond has also been responsible for business development, portfolio due diligence, negotiation of legal documentation, and assimilation of transactions. Ms. Bond currently serves as the Membership Committee Chair and the National Scholarship Chair for ESA.

Get your Nominations in for the 2015 Annual Award

Your nominations are needed!

All Awards will be presented at the 2015 WIESA Annual Meeting in May.
Date and Location to be determined. We’re getting an early start on nominations this year.
The WIESA Annual Awards ceremony, held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting each year, serves as an occasion for members to honor those who have exhibited extraordinary dedication and service to the security industry.

Anyone associated with a WIESA member company, at any level, is encouraged to submit nominations for any categories they wish. Each honoree receives a plaque, news release, and is listed on the WIESA Wall of Fame. Nomination forms are being accepted exclusively electronically this year.

Award Categories and Criteria Considerations

The Awards Committee, comprised of WIESA’s Past Presidents, review and vote upon all nominations. The company member nominating a candidate will be notified if their nominee is chosen and will be expected to bring the individual to the 2015 WIESA Annual Meeting.

Member of the Year…
Company must be a regular member for at least one full year. Past and present service to WIESA in such areas as Officer, Committee, or Committee Chair or whose efforts personify a commitment to exceptional service within the security industry including such things as SDM Top 100 classification, Sammy Awards, attendance at ESX, Day on Capital Hill. Past and present commitments to the communities they service, such as volunteer contributions or participation with organizations such as United Way, Boys and Girls Clubs, American Cancer Society, Lions Club, will be considered.

Technician of the Year…
Must have attained at least Certified Alarm Technician Level I Certification. Other technical certifications, length of service with current firm and committee participation should be considered. Individuals whose efforts personifies a commitment to service to the security industry and the communities they serve.

Salesperson of the Year…
Length of service with current firm and committee participation should be considered. Individuals who have made special contributions to the Association or security industry and whose efforts personifies a commitment to exceptional service to the communities they serve.

Administrative Person of the Year…
Length of service with current firm and committee participation should be considered. Individuals who have made special contributions to the Association or security industry and whose efforts also personifies a commitment to exceptional service to the communities they serve.

Associate Member of the Year…
Person or company’s length of membership and committee participation should be considered. Individuals who have made special contributions to the Association or security industry and whose efforts also personifies a commitment to exceptional service to the communities they serve.

Public Safety Person of the Year…
Any Public safety official in the state who has shown dedication to the common interests of the alarm industry and the communities they serve should be considered. Participation and support of WIESA projects should also be a consideration.
